Worcester’s Beechwood Hotel Receives High Honors From AAA
Tuesday, January 19, 2016
Overall, 49 Massachusetts hotels received the honors from AAA.
AAA Northeast will present the Diamond Awards at a luncheon in February at the Mandarin Oriental.
Four and Five Diamond Awards
The awards are determined by AAA's professional trained inspectors who are sent though out North America to conduct the 80 year tradition of unannounced hotel evaluations, rating the properties on a scale of one to five.
This year, AAA rated 28,000 hotels in North America. Of the 28,000, only 118 of the hotels receive AAA's Five Diamond Award.
Four Diamond hotels account for just 5.7 percent of the 28,000 properties rated by AAA.
AAA's rating system covers the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
