YMCA of Central MA Announces New Fitness Program
Monday, March 20, 2017
The Y has teamed with Escape Fitness Limited on a new interval training curriculum called “MOVE IT,’ that is set to begin on Tuesday, March 21 at the Greendale Family Branch.
There will be an introduction party from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and then another one from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for those who want to give it a try.
“Our YMCA is known for being a place where all are welcome at all activity levels. This new fitness offering is no different. It is certainly a challenging workout that will push people at all activity levels and help increase their fitness results," said Christina Puleo, Greendale Branch Executive Director.
The program is free for members in 30 and 45 minute sessions throughout the day.
Move It
About MOVE IT, the Y writes “MOVE IT, is a training program that hits calories hard during and after the work out. The intensity picks up quickly in the session and delivers a big metabolic effect to go on burning calories while you carry on with your day. You can enjoy this shared group training experience, whatever your level. Train to your own ability. MOVE IT up a level when you’re ready. The harder you work the greater the results will be."
