15-Year-Old Worcester Boy Arrested in Connection With June House Break In
Saturday, September 17, 2016
The boy, who was brought in by a parent, was charged with breaking and entering int he daytime, larceny of a firearm, unlawful carrying of a firearm and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
The investigation is ongoing.
The Incident
On June 28, 2016, Worcester Police responded to a Woodbine Street apartment for a report of a breaking and entering in progress. Upon the officers arrival they met with the person that called police. The caller said that he had interrupted a break in progress and saw a suspect fleeing from the home. A description was provided.
The investigation indicated that two men were involved in the break. It was also discovered that a handgun was taken during the incident.
