While the disappointment of summer coming to a close may still linger with most New Englanders, the arrival of fall is an exciting time of year.

The leaves on the trees are a site to behold, the music scene is still alive and well and oh yea, the New England Patriots are back and Tom Brady is free.

Death Cab for Cutie in New Hampshire

Death Cab for Cutie is coming to the Verizon Wireless Center in New Hampshire on September 10th.

Death Cab for Cutie was formed in 1997 and since then they have released eight albums, thier most recent coming in March of 2015.

Thier hits include "A Movie Script Ending," a song featured on the TV show "The O.C.," "Soul Meets Body" and "Crooked Teeth."

For Death Cab for Cutie fans and music lovers alike, this concert will be worth the trip and a reason to look forward to fall.

2015 Harvest Festival

The 6th Annual Harvest Festival will be held on Saturday, October 17 behind Bass Pro Shop at Patriot Place. The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Festival is FREE.

The festival is great for families as it will include pumpkin painting, hayrides, live music an a lot more.

Sam Adams Octoberfest Beer

One of the fun things about the changing of seasons is the changing of beer flavors and with fall comes Sam Adams Octoberfest.

The Oktoberfest idea was born in 1810 when Munich celebrated the Crown Prince's wedding with a 16 day party with a special beer.

Phantom Gourmet Food Festival

The phantom Gourmet Food Festival is an event to look forward too and it will be held on September 19th from 12- 4 p.m. on two streets next to Fenway Park.

Tickets are $40 in advance and online and will go up to $50 at the event.

The ticket includes sampling 100 of Phantom's foods from hot dogs and pizza to pulled pork and more. Beer and wine will be served on the street.

The NFL returns and that means the defending Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots return as well.

Tom Brady's suspension has been overturned and he will be under center when the Patriots host the Steelers in the NFL season opener on Thursday, September 10th.

Total Lunar Eclipse, September 27-28

There will be a total lunar eclipse during the last week of September. The eclipse will take place starting at 10:11 p.m. and will last until 11:23 p.m., a duration of one hour and 12 minutes.

This will be the last lunar eclipse in southern New England until January 21, 2019.

The 23rd annual International Oktoberfest is set to take place on October 17th and 18 on the Providence Waterfront at India Point Park.

Saturday's times are 12-8 p.m. and Sunday's times are 12-6 p.m.
