“Drunk” Worcester Woman Slashes Her Boyfriend

Accroding to Worcester Police, they were dispatched to a Worcester hospital for a report of an assault with a dangerous weapon. At the hospital officers met with a 31-year-old man suffering from a laceration to his left arm.
Officers spoke with the victim, who informed them that he had been walking with his 29-year -old girlfriend near the intersection of May and Park Ave at approximately 6:00 AM. The man told police that his girlfriend was extremely drunk and began arguing with him.
During the argument, his girlfriend pulled out a razor blade, swinging it towards him in an aggressive manner. She also struck him several times with a closed fist. The victim stated that when he attempted to disarm his girlfriend of the razor blade, he received a laceration to his forearm.
The victim informed officers that his girlfriend accompanied him to the hospital and was currently waiting for him in a vehicle in the emergency room parking lot. Officers checked the lot and observed the female asleep in the back seat of a vehicle. The female was placed under arrest. She was charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon as well as Domestic Assault and Battery.
Due to the Domestic nature of this incident, Massachusetts State Law requires that the names of both the victim and the suspect remain confidential at this time.
