New England’s First LGBTQ TV Being Launched By Dale LePage

Friday, November 20, 2015

Award winning singer Dale LePage has announced he is launching what may be New England’s first video series focused on the LGBTQ community. The series is scheduled to launch in early 2016 is titled New England PRIDE TV.

The show is designed for a broad-based audience according to LePage, “The audience is everyone, absolutely everyone who is interested learning and Supporting LGBTQ However it's more than that, its is support groups, entertainment events fun segments, meeting interesting people and more.”

The goal of the program is to have a significant impact on perceptions and relations in and outside the gay, lesbian and transgender community, “Lets just say I hope it will be able to inform, entertain and maybe just maybe get to help some people that may be struggling and guide them to the information that may help them in their journey.”

Partners in the Show’s Development

The show is being developed with partners throughout New England, “I started this idea as a grass roots movement sending out private messages on Facebook, asking people if the show was something they thought was a good idea. Some answered with a resounding YES! some read the message and ignored it,” said LePage, “But stepping up to the plate and jumping in with there sleeves rolled up ready to help are people from Maine, Boston,

Worcester, and Providence so far and we are just beginning.”

GoLocalProv and GoLocalWorcester have agreed to be a media partner with New England Pride TV

“I host two shows now, about music and entertainment in New England. And found there was a huge void in the New England media about the LGBTQ community, and am trying to make more of a community feel by creating New England PRIDE TV. I'm not sure if it has been done before, but I truly think a show like this is long overdue.”
