VIDEO: “Best Ride of Her Life” Dog Dies Announces Attleboro Mayor Heroux

Sunday, March 10, 2019

“My little girl passed away today at about 3PM. Mura was First Dog of Attleboro. She was not a service dog, she was a “Public Service” Dog. She made so many people happy. Everyone loves Mura.

Rest In Peace, Beautiful,” read the Tweet Saturday from Attleboro Mayor Paul Heroux about his beloved dog.

The two had made national news when Heroux and Mura took a trip around the country — 8,500 miles — when he learned that she was terminally ill.
