Assumption To Hold Memorial Service For Colleen Ritzer At Noon

Assumption College will host a memorial service for Colleen Ritzer Friday at noon. Ritzer, a 2011 graduate of the Worcester school was tragically killed Tuesday evening.

The memorial service will include Scripture readings, a reflection by Fr. Dennis Gallagher, the school's vice president for mission, instrumental and vocal recordings from the Assumption Chapel Choir, as well as prayers of the faithful read by community members. There will also be simple candle-lighting ritual which will allow attendees to come forward to light a candle in Colleen's memory.

Following the closing prayer, those who wish to participate are invited to stay to pray.
