BREAKING: Carlson and Cortes Moving on in District 2

Eight of ten precincts have reported and less than 1,000 votes have been tallied. As of right now, Mero-Carlson has over 600 votes. Cortes has nearly 270.
Larry Shetler and Ana Sequera will each lose the preliminary race and will not move on to November's municipal election.
In the At-Large City Council race, roughly 10 percent of registered voters came out on Tuesday. As of 8:45 PM on Tuesday, Mayor Joe Petty was the leading vote getter.
