School Statistics
96% of students were proficient or higher in English; 94% were proficient of higher in math and 87% were proficient or better in science. For a very large high they certainly spend a solid amount per student. This Bolton school spends $12,521 per student during the 2009-2010 school year. However, it is still below the state average of $13,704 per student. But it is important to keep in mind that the average high school across the Commonwealth has 780 students, whereas Nashoba has just under 1000 students. Nashoba also serves kids in Stow and Lancaster.
EMT Program
The school offers the NRHS Cadet EMT Program. It trains high school students to become EMTS. They get to serve on the Bolton Ambulance Squad.
The students involved in the NRHS Cadet EMT Program carry pagers and are alerted if anyone needs Emergency Medical Services within the town’s jurisdiction. There are only a few programs like this across the United States.
