GoLocalWorcester ranks Tahanto Regional High School 8th in our list of best high schools in Central Massachustts.

School Statistics

The student to teacher ratio and spending per student were both above the state average. Tahanto Regional High School spends $14,356 per student while the state average is $13,704. High schools across the Commonwealth have 15 students to every teacher; Tahanto has 11.4. It is a relatively small school district with only 261 students enrolled in the 2010-2011 school year. Tahanto serves students in both Berlin and Boylston.

Family Atmosphere

Principal Diane Tucceri said, "Because we are a small school, we are able to really educate a student as an individual. They feel they are apart of a family. We have small class sizes. Students and teachers really get to know each other.

College-Bound Kids

The school has a very high graduation rate. Last year 97% of the students went on to a two or four year college. Tucceri said, "Every student that graduates form here are prepared to be successful members of the community."
