Explosions went off today on Boylston Street, at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. GoLocalWorcester is getting the reactions of track and field as well as cross country coaches from colleges in the Worcester area.

John Nicol, Head of Men's Cross Country at Anna Maria College:

"I'm kind of speechless. And it's such a long race–26 miles worth of course. I think it'll affect all races down the road, and it's just tragic because we can't really protect against it. I mean who knows, it could've been a lot worse. I guess we should be thankful that nothing else happened."
