City Coalition to Hold Annual Inclusive Workplace Training

Dr. Goodman has worked nationally and internationally with many organizations, groups, schools and universities to help build conciousness, confidence and competence to create equity and inclusion in the workplace. Dr. Goodman is the authoer of Promoting Diversity and Social Justice: Educating People from Privileged Groups.
According to a statement released by the city, individuals that participate in the workshops "will become familiar with research on unconscious and unintentional bias; explore some common expressions of unconscious and unintentional bias and microaggressions; learn ways to overcome unconscious bias; develop and practice skills to address microaggressions and bias and create more inclusive environments; and be inspired to implement and/or revise equity and inclusion strategies within the workplace."
The workshop will take place at City Hall in the Levi Lincoln Chamber and will be split into two identical sessions: Session 1 - 8 AM to 12 PM, and Session 2 - 1 PM to 5 PM
