Coming Monday: Most Dangerous Intersections in New England 2014

Saturday, February 22, 2014

Which of New England's roadways have the highest occurrence of serious accidents? Where are the most dangerous intersections in the region located?

On Monday, you can find out.

Utilizing records provided by each of the states' Departments of Transportation, GoLocalWorcester has analyzed accident data from thousands of New England intersections to compile a ranking of New England's Most Dangerous Intersections.

Our method

GoLocalWorcester has created a ranking formula that weighted each of the categories of crashes based on the "danger" of the outcome (fatalities were weighted more than injuries, which were weighted more than property damage only), which yielded the final ranking order.

State rankings

Beyond creating a comprehensive list for all of New England, GoLocalWorcester will also unveil individual lists of the most dangerous intersections for each of the six states in the region.

Check GoLocalWocester on Monday to see which roadways and intersections in New England are most dangerous.
