Evangelidis to Swear-In Baker and Polito as Deputies Tonight

The swear-in will be held at Pleasant Valley Country Club in Sutton. Attendees include Worcester County Register of Probate Stephanie Fattman, Congressman James McGovern and Governor's Councilor Jennifer Caissie.
Both Evangelidis and McGovern will be delivering remarks at the event.
Only when called upon by the High Sheriff or Special Sheriff does a Reserve Deputy have the powers, duties, authority, responsibility and honors of a Deputy Sheriff, as provided for by the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 37, Section 13 and Chapter 269, Section 1.
All Reserve Deputies serve at the will and pleasure of the Sheriff and agree to obey the lawful commands of the Sheriff, his designees and follow the rules and regulations of the association and the department.
