Worcester’s Young Professional Women’s Association (YPWA) will host a presentation and discussion on February 13th that combines a focus on Worcester’s rich history and its promising future.
The event, sponsored by Bowditch & Dewey, LLP, and titled “New Year, New Woo,” will be held at the new Mezcal location at 30 Major Taylor Blvd. Heather Gould, the City’s Chief of Staff for the Executive Office of Economic Development, will be on-hand to highlight development projects and ideas in and around Worcester.
“We are thrilled to be presenting this event. Mezcal fills a void in a space that had been vacant for some time,” says Lynette Paczkowski, YPWA President. Paczkowski adds, “To be at such an exciting new venue to hear and talk about what’s next for Worcester is a perfect pairing.”
Bowditch & Dewey is sponsoring the event as part of its year-long celebration of 100 years of service. Jim Hanrahan, Bowditch & Dewey’s Managing Partner, concurs with Paczkowski’s sentiments. “This event celebrates Worcester's rich legacy while looking ahead to an exciting future,” says Hanrahan. “Like our colleagues in the Worcester business community, we look forward to another century of innovation and growth.”
The YPWA’s seeks to engage and empower young professional women through educational and social endeavors. The organization’s membership is comprised of women from the Central Massachusetts Region, representing diverse industries and professional levels, gathering monthly at various locations throughout the City. For more information on the YPWA and how to become a member, contact membership at [email protected], or visit YPWA's Facebook page for more info and events.
