Fundraiser Started for Local Family Following Devastating Fire

Friday, May 08, 2015

On Wednesday May 6, a two alarm fire broke out on Uxbridge Street in Worcester. The fire took the life 96-year-old Rose M. Jordan and has left Jordan's sister Eleanor Rinaldo, 83, of Worcester in critical condition.

Rinaldo's son, John, who also lived at the home at 15 Uxbridge Street, has lost everything to the fire and local family and friends from Worcester have put together a GoFundMe campaign to help him and his mom out. The family also lost their dog, Sammy, in the fire.

At of late Thursday afternoon, the campaign has raised nearly $600 of the $10,000 goal in only the first five hours of its launch.

To make a donation, please visit: John Rinaldo's Fire Relief Fund.

In-kind donations can also be arranged through the campaign page.
