Be Like Brit began as a way to commemorate Britney Gengel’s last text to her mother before an earthquake in Haiti took her life.
Britney wanted to start an orphanage in Haiti to help the children living there, and so Be Like Brit was created on her 23rd birthday.
The organization takes in children from all over the island and donations go on to help them maintain the quality of life at the orphanage.
