Hernandez Indicted for Shooting Witness in the Face

Monday, May 11, 2015

Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is facing more trouble. On Monday, Hernandez was indicted for shooting his former friend and associate Alexander Bradley in Florida in 2013. The charge Hernandez faces is under the state’s witness intimidation statute.

Bradley is set to be a key witness in Hernandez's upcoming double murder trial for the deaths of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado in 2012.

According to multiple reports, Hernandez shot Bradley in the face following remarks made by Bradley regarding the murders.

Hernandez is facing two counts of First-Degree Murder and three counts of Armed Assault with Intent to Murder, as well as one count each of Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
