Holden Man Killed at Mass Pike Toll Booth in Auburn

The toll collector, a 61-year-old man from Holden, died shortly after being hit by a 2010 Toyota Tacoma, driven by a 31-year-old Charlton man, as he was walking across the EZ-Pass lane.
The toll collector was transported to UMass Medical Center in Worcester where he died as a result of injuries sustained from the incident.
The names of the victim and the driver of the Tacoma are not being released at this time.
Troopers from the Mass State Police Charlton Barracks are currently investigating the remaining facts and circumstances of the crash.
