Saturday, November 15, 2014
On Friday, Carr completed his contract with WRKO. Carr will begin his new show with longtime sidekick and producer Nancy "Sandy" Shack. Carr's first guest on the show will be Doug "VB" Goudie who was recently released by FOX 25 after it was purchased by COX Media Group.
"The Howie Carr Show" will continue to be syndicated in Worcester on WCRN out of Westborough, and will remain in it's typical time-slot of 3pm.
Carr, who also writes for the Boston Herald, attempted to leave WRKO in 2007 but was forced to remain due to contract obligations. Carr started with WRKO in 1994. Twenty years later, he finally gets what he wants.
