Local Foundation to Host Mini-Golf Tournament to Support Community

Thursday, May 07, 2015

On Sunday, May 9, the Jarboe Foundation, Inc. will be hosting its 2nd Annual Mini-Golf Tournament to help local families in need. The foundation is an applied and pending 501(c) charitable organization in Massachusetts which targets struggling individuals and families who are having hardships to profoundly make a difference in their lives.

At the mini-golf tournament, the foundation will be raffling Red Sox tickets, winery gift cards, gifts baskets and other prizes. Revenue from the event will go directly to helping needy families.

The event will be held at the West End Creamery in Whitinsville. For tickets, please click here: Mini-Golf Tournament Tickets.

According to the Jarboe Foundation, they "are inspired by the short story of The Star Fish and it's message that every little bit can help, no matter how small. We empower people to listen in their community to discover those who are struggling, however may be too embarrassed to ask for help, and then nominate them as a candidate. Participating in The Jarboe Foundation is a way to give back to these people in ways that restore hope, improve their quality of life, and let them know that they are not forgotten."
