A man was arrested by New Jersey State Police in connection with Sunday’s death at 42 North Bow St. in Milford, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph Early Jr.

Jusselo D. Dos Reis was arrested on a fugitive from justice warrant after members of the New Jersey State Police Fugitive Unit arrived at 22 Vincent St. in Newark. He was taken into custody without incident.

“I want to thank the New Jersey State Police, particularly the NJSP Fugitive Unit, for capturing the suspect. This arrest is a textbook example of cooperation in law enforcement that reaches across state lines,” said Early.

The Department of Homeland Security informed law enforcement that  Dos Reis is believed to have illegally entered the United States “without inspection.”

Brazil is believed to be his country of origin and there was concern he might return their before being captured.

The Incident

The death of a man early Sunday morning at the North Bow Street address is being investigated by the State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office and Milford Police.

Police believe the man died between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. on Sunday morning.

The death was ruled unattended at the time.
