Man Shot in Leg Following Argument in Worcester

A man was shot in the leg following an argument in the area of Terrell St. in Worcester on Friday night.

The man’s injuries are considered to be non life-threatening.

The investigation is ongoing.

The Incident

On December 1 at about 11:05 p.m., Worcester police officers were sent to the area of 27 Tirrell St for a report of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located a 27 year-old man, who had a gunshot wound to his right leg. An ambulance responded and took the man to the hospital. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

After speaking with witnesses, officers determined that there was an argument between acquaintances on the street, and the argument escalated into gunfire.
