Mass State Police Release Updated Composite Image of Deer Island Girl
Friday, July 10, 2015
The image was completed on Wednesday by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The updated image adds earrings to the girl's ears (see image). According to the MSP, the previous composite should not be considered inaccurate, but this one represents the most up-to-date version.
As GoLocalWorcester reported earlier this week, the MSP are actively investigating the finding of the girl and are asking for the public to help them identify her.
MSP is asking the public to be on alert for any children who may have gone missing from their communities, neighborhoods, schools, summper programs, parks, churches and any other place where people gather. They are also asking people to consider their July 4th gatherings and whether a child whom you thought would have expected to be there was not present.
Anyone with any information about this toddler or who has information about a missing child is urged to call Massachusetts State Police at 508-820-2121 (24-hour number), the Suffolk County State Police Detective Unit at 617-727-8817, or Winthrop Police at 617-539-5806.
