National Weather Service: Strong To Severe Thunderstorms, Large Hail Possible Today in Worcester

"Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly between 3pm and 4pm. Some of the storms could produce small hail and gusty winds. Increasing clouds, with a high near 68. West wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms," the weather service said.
On tonight, they added, "Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 7pm. Cloudy during the early evening, then becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 48. West wind around 11 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

CONNECTICUT...RHODE ISLAND AND SOUTH OF THE PIKE IN MASSACHUSETTS.
THE RISK IS LOWER AS ONE TRAVELS NORTHWARD TOWARD THE MA/NH
BORDER.
