NE Police Agencies to Coordinate Speed Enforcement Campaign

On Thursday, the Massachusetts State Police, along with law enforcement agencies from each state in New England, will launch a coordinated speed enforcement mobliization aimed reducing speed related crashes, injuries and fatalities.

The event will take place at at 11 AM at Squantum Point Park at Marina Bay in Quincy. Participants in the mobilization include Michael Geraci, Regional Administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Region 1; Jennifer D. Queally, Undersecretary for Law Enforcement, Executive Office of Public Safety and Security; Colonel Richard D. McKeon, Superintendent Massachusetts State Police; Mary Maguire, AAA Northeast, State Highway Safety representatives and local and state law enforcement representatives from Massaschusetts, Connecticut, Maine, Rhode Island and Vermont.
