NEW: Becker Appoints Veronica Rosa VP of Institutional Advancement

Becker College has appointed Veronica L. Rosa as vice president of institutional advancement.

Rosa will have oversight of advancement initiatives including major gifts, annual giving, foundation and corporate giving, grants, stewardship, and signature events.

Rosa had previously worked for UMass Memorial Health Care/HealthAlliance Hospital in Leominster, Mass., where she served as corporate vice president, external affairs and marketing, and where she had held previous corporate vice president posts in development and public relations since 2005.

Prior, she was chief philanthropy officer for Southcoast Health System, Charlton Memorial Hospital; and director of development at The Providence Center, Providence, R.I. Her prior positions in the higher education arena included responsibilities for public relations, marketing, special events, and admissions at Salve Regina University, Duquesne University, and Bentley University.

A Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), Rosa holds a master’s degree from Duquesne University and a bachelor’s degree from Bentley University. She fulfills volunteer leadership positions with the North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce, United Way of North Central Massachusetts, and Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School.
