Saturday, November 30, 2013
GoLocalWorcester News Team
GoLocal with a little help from IMDb.com has tracked down the biggest stars from New England and ranked them on their Twitter followers.
Who is #1?
The #1 star on this list recently Tweeted, "If silent movies are any indication, 70% of the American labor force in 1916 worked in the ladder-carrying industry."
Does that help identify who is #1?
Small Towns
They come from little towns like Stowe, Bedford and Kent and of the 30 biggest stars - all six New England states are represented.
Places like Boston, MA (no surprise - heck they make a lot of babies there) and Newport, RI both scored multiple Hollywood stars.
The stars range from dramatic to comedic and some of them their career is rocketing while others may need a bit of a relaunch. The stars with the biggest twitter followers are generally in the comedy world.
Take a tour of the biggest movie stars - how many do you follow on Twitter.
Special thanks to IMDb for their biography write ups.
