NEW: Homicide Suspect from After Hours Party Arrested by Worcester PD

WPD arrested 22-year-old Angel Ortiz-Santos of 40 Belmont Street when he exited his apartment building. The arrest was made on an active warrant for Murder and Assault and Battery by Means of a Firearm. Ortiz- Santos was also charged with Carrying a Dangerous Weapon (firearm).
As GoLocalWorcester reported in March, 27-year-old Christian Omar Puello-Rosado was shot and killed early on March 22 at a party on Narragansett Avenue. A 28-year-old female was also shot, but survived.
Preliminary investigation in March found that Puello-Rosado and Ortiz-Santos had a verbal argument at the crowded party that led to the shooting.
Ortiz-Santos was arrested without incident and transported to police headquarters for processing. Mr. Ortiz-Santos will be arraigned on Wednesday.
