Kraft Visited Massage Parlor Day of AFC Championship Game - See Charging Documents

Tuesday, February 26, 2019

Robert Kraft reportedly visited the massage parlor on the day of the AFC Championship game.

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft visited Florida massage parlor Orchids of Asia Day Spa on the morning of the AFC Championship game, according to documents released by the Palm Beach State Attorney’s Office on Monday.

According to the documents, it was Kraft’s second visit to the parlor in less than 24 hours after he was seen on video surveillance at the spa on January 19.

Kraft was officially charged with two misdemeanor counts of first-degree solicitation.

"Our office treats everyone the same, whether you have a lot of money or are indigent. This isn't about lonely old men or victimless crimes,” said Palm Beach County state attorney Dave Aronberg in his press conference on Monday.

Kraft will have a court date on April 24 at 8:30 a.m.

Based on the charges, Kraft could spend up to 120 days (60 per charge) in prison, according to the Palm Beach County attorney’s office.

Incidents Caught on Camera

According to the documents, cameras show that Kraft visited the spa on the afternoon of January 19 and paid for services in cash at the front desk.

Kraft was then taken to a massage room, undressed and lay on a massage bed.

Cameras show a female employee “manipulating his genitals” and later wiping with a towel and helping him get dressed.

On January 20, the day of the AFC Championship game, Kraft went back to the spa just before 11 a.m. and undressed and lay on the massage bed.

Then a woman began “manipulating Kraft’s genitals and put her head down by his genitals. This went on for several minutes,” before she helped him clean up.

According to documents, Kraft gave her a $100 bill and one other unidentifiable bill and left the room at approximately 11:13 a.m.

According to CNN, flight information shows that Kraft arrived in Kansas City at 4:25 p.m. eastern time for the 6:40 p.m. kickoff.

NFL Statement

Earlier in the day on Monday, the NFL released a second statement regarding Kraft and the charges.

“Our Personal Conduct Policy applies equally to everyone in the NFL. We will handle this allegation in the same way we would handle any issue under the Policy. We are seeking a full understanding of the facts, while ensuring that we do not interfere with an ongoing law enforcement investigation. We will take appropriate action as warranted based on the facts.”
