NEW: Mass. Gas Prices Up 8 Cents

Gasoline prices in Massachusetts are up eight cents this week, the tenth consecutive week of increases, according to AAA Southern New England. AAA’s February 27 survey of prices in Massachusetts found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.689 per gallon, eight cents more than a week ago and 21 cents higher than a month ago. The current price is one cent below the national average for self serve unleaded of $3.69. A year ago at this time the Massachusetts average price was $3.30.

The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 35 cents, from a low of $3.56 to a high of $3.91. AAA advises motorists to shop around for the best prices in their area, and to make sure they and their passengers buckle up — every Today’s local gas prices and their ranges are as follows:
