NEW: Multiple Explosions at Boston Marathon

Multiple explosions are being reported at the finish of the Boston Marathon. The area near the finish line and viewing stands have been evacuated. Medical and emergency personnel are currently on the scene. Medical and emergency personnel are currently on the scene. Reports of multiple explosions, casualties and smoke are reported. Eyewitness reports from the Prudential Center reported extreme smoke, causing onlookers to immediately vacate the area.

Reports of two separate explosions near the finish line of the Boston Marathon are currently pouring in. Multiple explosions are being reported at the finish of the Boston Marathon. The areas near the finish line and viewing stands have been evacuated. Medical and emergency personnel are currently on the scene. Reports of multiple explosions, casualties and smoke have been reported as far away as the Prudential Center. At least one explosion was confirmed on Boylston at the location of Marathon sports.

Eyewitness reports coming in from the Prudential Center reported extreme smoke, causing onlookers to panic and immediately leave the area.

The finish line area is presently being used as a triage and staging area. Severe injuries are being reported.
