...SNOW WILL AFFECT THE AFTERNOON COMMUTE IN MUCH OF SOUTHERN NEW

ENGLAND...

SNOW WILL BEGIN IN WESTERN NEW ENGLAND AROUND 3 PM OR 4 PM AND

SHOULD REACH NORTHEAST MASSACHUSETTS BY 6 PM.

LOCALLY HEAVIER SNOW SQUALLS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL AND

NORTHEAST MASSACHUSETTS...INCLUDING ROUTES 2 AND 3 AS WELL AS

INTERSTATE 495. COMMUTERS SHOULD BE AWARE OF THE POTENTIAL FOR LOW

VISIBILITY AND SNOW COVERED ROADS...ESPECIALLY THOSE HEADING INTO

SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE.

MOST PLACES WILL PICK UP AN INCH OR TWO OF SNOW BY THE TIME IT

ENDS EARLY TONIGHT...BUT LOCALLY AS MUCH AS 3 OR 4 INCHES OF SNOW

COULD ACCUMULATE IN THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL

MASSACHUSETTS.

PLAN ON EXTRA TRAVEL TIME FOR THE AFTERNOON COMMUTE. SLOW DOWN AND

ADJUST YOUR DRIVING FOR WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS.
