NEW: Rush Street Gaming Unveils $200M Slots Proposal For Millbury

Tuesday, July 16, 2013

Slot machines are back on the table in Central Mass, with Rush Street Gaming's new proposal for Millbury.

Representatives from Rush Street Gaming, the parent company of Mass Gaming and Entertainment, unveiled a plan Monday evening for a $200 million slots parlor facility in Millbury to town residents at a Planning Board Meeting.

The Rush Street Gaming subsidiary, which originally had plans for a slots parlor in Worcester, unveiled a plan for a 100,000-115,000 square foot facility.

Slots, jobs + more

The facility would include over 1,250 slots games as well as live entertainment arenas, a full day spa, restaurants and more. The building would be LEED Gold certified for environmental sustainability.

According to Rush, the new slots parlor would be expected to create temporary construction jobs, and upon completion, 400 permanent jobs.
