Hazardous weather is on the way to Central Mass today, with thunderstorms, hail, high winds, and even a forecast of an isolated twister in the region.

The National Weather Service has posted a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Central Massachusetts among other regions. National Weather Service meteorologist Charlie Foley has been quoted by Boston.com as saying that these conditions may also involve an isoloated twister in the area.

The following is the current report from the National Weather Service.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHERN
CONNECTICUT...CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS...EASTERN
MASSACHUSETTS...NORTHEASTERN MASSACHUSETTS...SOUTHEASTERN
MASSACHUSETTS...WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS...SOUTHERN NEW
HAMPSHIRE...NORTHERN RHODE ISLAND AND SOUTHERN RHODE ISLAND.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

THERE IS A MODERATE PROBABILITY OF THUNDERSTORMS TODAY. SOME
THUNDERSTORMS MAY CONTAIN STRONG WIND GUSTS...HAIL...AND LOCALLY
HEAVY DOWNPOURS. THE BEST CHANCE OF THIS WILL BE IN THE
CONNECTICUT VALLEY AND ADJACENT HILLS.
