Over 200 Home Depot Volunteers Help Revamp Veterans Inc.

Over 200 Home Depot Volunteers helped to transform Veterans Inc. for Worcester - area Veterans on Thursday, November 5th. 

The project was part of the companies Celebration of Service campaign, a nationwide effort led by Team Depot, The Home Depot's associate-led volunteer force, in order to give back to veterans in need.  Team Depot will complete projects for veterans in every community The Home Depot severs between now and veterans day. 

The army of volunteers painted over 4,000 square feet of space and made other updates. Other projects throughout the day included replacing lighting with energy efficient lights throughout the facility and adding area rugs. 

In addition to the volunteer efforts, The Home Depot Foundation will also donate up to $1 million to veteran causes for customers who share their support for veterans.
