Sen. Gobi Awards $4,859 Habitat Management Grant to Ware

Senator Anne Gobi and Representative Todd Smola have award a $4,859 grant to the town on Ware through the Habitat Management Grant Program.

Th funding will be used to create and improve scrubland and field habitat.

“Habitat maintenance is a vital, but delicate endeavor. The Habitat Management Grant Program has a great track record of support for our local communities as they strive to protect the Commonwealth’s natural resources,” said Senator Gobi.

The MassWildlife Habitat Management Grant Program (MHMGP) was developed to establish partnerships between MassWildlife and private and municipal landowners to enhance habitat and increase recreational opportunities on properties across the state.
