Teenage Girls Accosted in Worcester

The Incidents
In the first incident, a 15-year-old female student at South High School reported that at approximately 7:30 a.m. a male ran up behind her while walking in the area of Apricot Street and grabbed her from behind. The female offered resistance and the male fled the area.
In a separate incident, an 8th grade female,14, at Sullivan Middle School reported that a male approached her while walking on Apricot Street at approximately 8:15 a.m. The male stopped her and stated "You're coming with me."
The female refused and the male grabber her arm. The female reported that she punched the male multiple times before he ran away.
The male was last seen running into a nearby wooded area.
Police Investigating
Police believed that one male is responsible for both attacks.
The suspect is described as a white male, possibly in his 50's, white mustache, skinny, short and light complexion.
Detectives are currently conducting interviews and looking for potential witnesses in the area.
Worcester Public Schools issued an alert to parents of students at the two schools through an automated phone call.
Worcester police have assigned extra patrols in school areas during the time of student arrival and dismissal.
