Three Men Arrested for Distributing Oxycodone in Worcester

Saturday, June 30, 2018

Three men were arrested in the area of South Crystal street for distributing oxycodone on Wednesday.

Jeffrey Contreras was charged with distribution of class B substance, conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws and possession with the intent to distribute class b substance (second or subsequent offense).

Brian Fenner was charged with possession of class b substance with the intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws.

Luz Hernandez was charged with distribution of class b substance and conspiracy to violate controlled substance Laws.

The Incident

On Wednesday, June 27, at approximately 7:35 p.m., members of the Worcester Police Vice Squad were conducting undercover surveillance for street-level drug dealing in the South Crystal Street area. At this time the officer’s attention was drawn to a black Audi Q7. The Audi was seen pulling into the nearby parking lot of the Honey Farms Market.

The officers were familiar with this car as they had received information that the Audi is involved with the distribution of Oxycodone pills.

The officers saw a man in the Audi exit the front passenger side of the car and enter the passenger side of a silver minivan. The minivan then drove off. The driver of the Audi began to follow the minivan. The two cars took a meaningless ride around the block and arrived back at South Crystal Street.

Officers approached the cars. The passenger of the minivan was identified as Contreras, 28, of 427 Park Avenue. Contreras was seen holding a sum of money in his left hand. The driver of the minivan was identified as Fenner, 32, of 159 Cambridge Street. Other officers approached the Audi and identified the driver as Hernandez, 28, of 93 Grand Street.

A search of the immediate grabbing areas of the minivan produced an envelope with 40 individual 10mg Oxycodone pills. The envelope was found in the center console.

A search of Fenner produced a bag that contained 32 individual 15 mg Oxycodone pills as well as 4 individual 20 mg Oxycodone pills. Fenner also had $429.00 in cash.

A search of Contreras produced $1,255.00 in cash. The cash that Contreras was caught holding was an additional $360.00.

A search of Hernandez produced $2,668.00 in cash.

All drugs and cash were seized as evidence.
