Three Men Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges in Sturbridge

The driver, identified as Aboubacar Congo, 28, of Bronx New York, passengers Desiree Pelletier, 33 of Livermore Falls Maine, and Thierry Liliou, 38, of Bronx New York, were all placed under arrest and brought to the Sturbridge Barracks for booking.
Congo also had an active warrant for his arrest from Dudley District Court for other violations.
He was charged with the following:
- Trafficking in cocaine
- Trafficking in heroin/morphine/opium
- Conspiracy to violate drug law
- Fail to signal
- Marked lanes violation
- Miscellaneous mv equipment violation
Pelletier also had an active warrant for his arrest from Lawrence District Court for prior drug offenses.
He was charged with the following:
- Possession to distribute Class B drug
- Possess Class B drug
- Possess Class B drug
- Possess Class E drug
Lilou was charged with the following:
- Conspiracy to violate drug law
- Possess marijuana in open container in mv
- Fail to wear seat belt
- Intimidate witness
The Incident
On Tuesday, at approximately 8:15 p.m., Trooper Stephen Hazelton of the State Police Sturbridge Barracks, stopped a GMC Envoy on Route 84 Eastbound in the town of Sturbridge for a motor vehicle violation.
As a result of an investigation, two of the occupants of the vehicle were found to be in possession of illegally possessed narcotics, including heroin, cocaine, and Suboxone.
A third occupant was found to be in possession of marijuana and conspiring with the other two occupants in regards to trafficking narcotics.
