Two are Killed in Forbes Street Shooting

Thursday night, Worcester Police responding to a report of a shooting on Forbes Street and when they arrived they found two individuals shot.
At approximately 7:41 PM, Worcester police responded to 8 Forbes Street -- a three-decker. When Worcester Police arrived they found a 26-year-old female that was dead along with 28-year-old male suffering serious injuries.
According to Worcester Police, "numerous police officers responded to the scene and secured the area. Worcester Police detectives arrived along with members of the Crime Scene Unit. Investigators had identified the victims but their names will not be released at this time until all family members have been properly notified."
Crime Reports
According to Worcester Crime Report data, there have been eleven reported crimes in that area in the past few month. None have been shootings.
Worcester Police investigators are working on establishing a motive to this shooting. "Evidence at the scene is being processed while witnesses are being interviewed," said Worcester Police.
