Two Men Robbed, Pistol Whipped in Worcester

Two men were robbed at gunpoint and one of was pistol whipped on Preston Street before having his cell phone and cash taken from him.

The victim suffered a cut to the back of his head, bruises and broken teeth. He was treated on the scene an then taken to a hospital.

Worcester police are in search of two suspects after a search of the area produced nothing.

The first suspect was described as a Hispanic male, mid 20's to 30-years-old, 5'8" and approximately 160 to 170 pounds with short hair. He was the suspect who had the gun.

The second suspect was described as a black male, mid 20's to 30-year-old and heavy set.

The Incident

Worcester Police responded to the area of 4 Preston Street for a report of an armed robbery. When the officers arrived they met with two male victims who told police that they were sitting in a car parked on Preston Street when two men approached them.

One man went to the driver's side door while the other went to the passenger side door.

The man who came to the driver's door demanded cash before punching the victim in the face. The victim exited the car and engaged the suspect proceeded to pull out a gun and begin pistol whipping the victim on the head.

The suspect took the victims cell phone and cash.

The passenger in the car tried to exit to help but the second suspect held the door closed.
