Friday, May 15, 2015

On Tuesday, U.S. News released its annual Best High Schools Rankings for the entire country and for each state. Of the top 100 high schools in Massachusetts, only one in Worcester made the list.

Coming in at #66 in the state is University Park Campus.

University Park, receiving a “Silver” ranking,  is ranked #1,874 nationally according to U.S. News’ rankings. No other high school in Worcester is ranked in the state or nationally.

U.S. News based its rankings on a school’s student performances against other students in the state, performance of disadvantaged students against other disadvantaged students in the state and by college-readiness. (For a full look at U.S. News methodology, click here.)

Worcester Technical High School received a “Bronze” ranking for being recognized nationally.
