U.S. Rep McGovern To Distribute Thanksgiving Meals in Worcester

McGovern will visit Pernet Family Service to help pack Thanksgiving food baskets for families in need in the morning. Pernet assists more than 11,000 low income families per year with emergency assistance, maternal and child home health care and other family support.
After that, McGovern will head to Burncoat Preparatory School to serve Thanksgiving lunch to the students.
Finally, U.S. Rep McGovern will distribute food Veterans inc.'s Holiday Harvest. At this event in 2013, more than 400 veteran families enjoyed a holiday meal because of Holiday Harvest.
