United Way of Central MA to Recognize 6 During Annual Celebration

United Way CEO Tim Garvin

The United Way of Central Massachusetts will honor six individuals, businesses, and corporate teams at their annual Celebration. 

The group will be recognized for their work assisting United Way in carrying out their mission. 

Those being honored include: 

  • Lowell Alexander (Labor Services Community Hero Award)
  • Gordon Hargrove (Orville Harrold Community Leadership Award)
  • Dr. Gail Carberry (Aubrey Reid Award)
  • Summer Literacy Initiative (Ted Coghlin Community Citizen Award)
  • FLEXcon (Stoddard Award)
  • Eric W. Dickson, MD and Catherine E. Jones Dickson, MD (Alexis de Tocqueville Award)

 

Tim Garvin, President and CEO will also highlight six programs that represent the work of United Way.   

United Way’s annual celebration will take place on Wednesday, May 3 at 4:30 p.m. in the Great Hall of Mechanics Hall. 

The event is free and open to the public.
