UPDATE: Marlborough City Council Cancelled

Marlborough Public Schools previously cancelled all classes on Monday due to the anticipated severity of the storm and the possibility of power outages and heavy wind gusts.
According to GoLocalWorcester meteorologist John Ghiorse, the worst period of Hurricane Sandy for the region will be from the early afternoon through later tonight, with dast to northeast winds gusting over 50 mph with a few gusts to 65-75 mph especially near the coast and over higher terrain inland.
