UPDATE: State Police Bomb Squad Removes Rice Cooker from Grafton St. Gas Station

Updating a previous story, sources have confirmed that the Massachusetts State Police have cleared the area at a gas station at 263 Grafton Street. MSP bomb squad recovered an empty rice cooker which they initially believed might be a presssure cooker bomb.

Traffic on Grafton Street in Worcester was blocked off and Worcester Police and Massachusetts State Police have cleared out and surrounded the gas station. Initial reports have indicated that a pressure cooker was dropped off at the gas station and abandoned there.

The roads have been re-opened.
