UPDATE: Three Dead Men Found in Worcester Last Seen Friday

Wednesday, August 06, 2014

Residents from the apartment complex in Worcester where three men were found dead on Monday afternoon say that they last had seen the men alive on Friday.

According to the Associative Press, neighbors also said that one of the men found lived in the apartment where the bodies were found while the other two were just friends.

“Investigators believe at this time that this incident appears to be drug related, although the exact cause of death will not be determined until toxicology reports are completed,” read a press release by the Worcester Police. “Under current circumstances, these results can take up to 6 months for final determination.”

The Worcester Police have not released any additional information at this time, but will release more information at a later time when it becomes available. It is believed by investigators that foul play was not involved in the deaths.

Case Background

Police were initially called to the scene – an Outlook Drive Apartment in the Washington Heights Community - at approximately 2:41 PM on August 4th by an apartment maintenance man who called when he entered the apartment for routine maintenance and found two of the males, who were both unresponsive.

After finding the two males in the front portion of the house, another male was found in the back portion. The males were ages 49, 54, and 55 and were pronounced deceased at 2:48 PM.

Members of the Crime Scene Unit are currently processing evidence while investigators are conducting interviews. The names of the victim will not be released until police have properly notified all known family members.
