Victim Chases Down & Catches Suspect Prior to Police Arrival

The victim caught up to Kristoff and held him until police arrived
Kristoff was transported to police headquarters for processing and then transported to the Worcester County District Courthouse for Arraignment.
The Incident
On Friday, May 6 at around 9:20 a.m. Worcester Police responded to 113 Southbridge Street for a report of a Larceny from motor vehicle that had just occurred.
Upon arrival, officers met with the victim who said he was at the Registry of Motor Vehicles for some business. The victim had parked his work truck in a position that he could see from inside the building. The victim was on his way to work and had his power tolls in the bed of the truck.
While waiting for service, the victim observed a male approach his truck, reach into the bed area and retrieve his Dewalt chop saw. Upon seeing this activity the victim ran out of the building and chased after the suspect. The suspect was later identified as Kristoff dropped the saw and attempted to flee the area. The victim continued to chase Kristoff and eventually caught up to him. The victim held onto him until police arrived.
Kristoff was yelling, swearing and actively resisting being placed under arrest. He was eventually arrested and charged with larceny over the value of $250.00, trespassing, breaking and entering into a motor vehicle and resisting arrest.
